Comfort & Foot Health

Is it Possible That You are Wearing the Wrong Size Shoe?

Do your feet hurt?  Well, whether you have a diagnosed foot condition or your feet just plain old hurt, come in and see us.  We want you comfortable for all life has to offer from walking around your favorite city to power shopping to farmer’s markets to just being comfortable on your feet at work.

MeasureWhile Plantar Fasciitis is the most common foot condition that we see at Schuler Shoes, we also run into quite a few customers that are wearing the wrong size shoe!  They swear that they have been a size 8 1/2 their entire life.  While it may be true that they once wore a size 8 1/2 shoe, things may have changed.  Life gets in the way.  We have babies, we have a job that forces us to be on our feet for 10 hours a day, we love to run, etc.  In the end, the size and shape of your feet can change throughout our lives.  So, whether you know it or not, you may be wearing the wrong size shoe.

I know, I know. You go into a shoe store, you pick out a shoe, you tell the store clerk your size and they bring you your shoe.  It is pretty uncommon to go into a shoe store and have someone measure your feet these days, right?  Well, at Schuler Shoes, we are a sit and fit model shoe store.  This means that you sit and we fit.  We have shoe fit experts that will measure your feet every single time you come into our store (like Ben from our Maple Grove store – pictured below left).  We truly pride ourselves on finding a great fitting shoe for our customers.

We also have in store Board Certified Pedorthists on staff that rotate around to our 8 different locations.  No, they aren’t foot doctors, but they are what we like to refer to as the pharmacist of the shoe business.  In fact, we partner with hundreds of doctors around the Twin Cities and St Cloud who refer their patients in to see our staff and our Pedorthists.  Our Pedorthists will give you a FREE foot evaluation or get information about your condition from your doctor and be able to recommend proper footwear that can alleviate pain, support your feet properly and keep you moving in the right direction.

Schuler Shoes has been in the Twin Cities for over 124 years.  We are family owned and operated and our number one goal is to get you in good, quality shoes that will support you from the ground up.  So, come in and see us.  We would love to talk to you about your feet, fabulous shoes…your feet in fabulous shoes and more.
