If you’re on vacation, the last thing you want is sore feet slowing you down. As exhilarating and refreshing as trips are, they often require facing a new terrain and a lot of standing and walking. We want you to feel and look your best wherever you’re headed, so we’ve put together our top travel shoe picks of the season for your warm weather destination. Maximize Your Comfort

Insoles: Adding insoles to your shoes can boost structure, support, and comfort like nobody’s business. Thin inserts such as Four Seasons work wonderfully in shallow shoes and flats, and can often be placed on top of a unremovable footbed (and, if desired, secured with an adhesive back). Because every foot is different and inserts come in all shapes and sizes, we highly recommend you come into a store (like any of our nine locations) so a highly trained shoe fitter can examine your feet and help you determine which type would work best for you.
Quality Socks: These can be just as important as your shoes. Look for varieties that are made with a blend that’s durable, moisture-wicking, and temperature controlling. Sockwell and Smartwool are some of our favorites.
Allow a Break-In Period: Your shoes could be made straight out of clouds, but if you don’t give yourself some time to break them in, you may be paying for it your 7th mile into your trip. Also, remember that cork-based shoes like those from Naot, Finn Comfort, and Birkenstock mold to your feet as you wear them, so the more you’ve had them on, the more customized and comfortable they’ll be.
Rotate Your Shoes: It’s always a great idea to rotate your shoes to give certain muscles and joints a break. The same goes while on vacation. If you’re able to pack an extra pair you can switch out, this will help keep your feet at their healthiest.
