The Sole Project

Schuler Shoes has been dedicated to supporting healthier lives since 1889. And at Schuler Shoes, it's always been about more than just the shoes. We are proud to partner with our employees, customers and local charities to care for individuals in our communities – from the comfort of their feet to the encouragement of their souls.

Stewardship – the sharing of time, talent and treasure – is a way of life. Schuler Shoes strives to be a leader in actively serving, participating and giving back in our community, partnering with local non-profits to meet specific, basic needs.

Schuler Shoes' Vision

Our vision is for all people to have their basic needs met. When you meet basic needs, you lay the foundation for a stronger community. Unmet basic needs put our community at risk. Hungry children are more likely to miss school, affecting their academic progress. Lack of affordable housing forces people to live farther from their jobs, undermining their stability.

Schuler Shoes' Mission

The Sole Project seeks to build strong partnerships and lasting value in our communities by supporting humanitarian organizations that provide food/nutrition, clothing, shoes, socks, shelter, primary health care needs, basic education, drinking water and sanitation to those in need.
